"To walk like an old fox across the frozen stream in the spring"
In the spring sun the ice layer of the stream melts and becomes smooth and very fragile. To cross the stream, walking on the ice must be careful, slow and attentive, so that retreat is possible in case the ice breaks.
All foxes, young and old alike, know this. But the young fox, by his reckless nature, sees the end and accelerates. The ice broke and his tail got wet in the icy water.

An attentive, stable and present walk
Tai Chi Walking is a simple meditation in motion, suitable for any age and any level of experience. Through slow and conscious walking we will learn to strengthen the sense of center, improve balance and develop a deeper connection between the body and the mind.
The practice is especially suitable for practitioners of movement and martial arts, for people who wish to improve stability and confidence in walking, as well as for those who have difficulty in prolonged meditative sitting.
The slow walk strengthens the legs and the lower back area, improves the connection between the upper and lower body and encourages calmness, listening and presence. There is no need for previous experience, special equipment or high physical fitness.
