Practicing Qi Gong and Jin Jing

Yi Jin Jing(易筋經) The ancient way to a flexible, strong and healthy body

Online morning workshop 12 sessions 3 months September-December

When I lived in Taiwan, I would arrive at the park at 7:00 am for my personal training. To my surprise, most of the qigong practitioners had already finished their training and were on their way home.

Really, there is no substitute for an early morning workout. The air is clean, everything is still quiet, the world around is gradually awakening to the rising yang energy. This is the perfect time to balance the body and mind, fill up with energy and prepare for the challenges of the day - especially in the chaotic times in which we live.

Dear friends,

I am happy to invite you to a qigong workshop of about 12 weekly sessions, which will be held in the morning via Zoom.

During the workshop we will learn a series of exercises and acquire practical tools, so that even after the end of the workshop you can continue to practice independently and maintain a vital body, calm mind and balanced energy.

What will we learn in the workshop?

We will learn the Yi Jin Jing series (易筋經), one of the most important and famous Qi Gong series originating from the Shaolin monastery tradition. The series is also practiced in hospitals and traditional Chinese medicine settings, and combines movement, breathing, stretching and awareness.

In addition, we will practice standing and walking meditation.

Yì Jīn Jīng易筋經

The practice of the Yi Jin Jing series is designed to strengthen, lengthen and balance the body through a combination of movement, stretching, breathing and awareness.

  • Practicing the poses strengthens the skeleton, bones and nervous system.
  • The stretching of the muscles and tendons affects the internal organs, joints, meridians and the flow of qi.
  • The twisting movements help to balance the metabolism and support the creation of Jing.
  • Breathing helps to create better quality and refined chi.
  • The training strengthens the balance and produces harmony between the body, the mind and the nervous system.
