Tai Chi, Qi Gong & Meditation Retreat – Crete 2026 Featuring: Wudang Five Animals Qi Gong
31st May – 7th June
Five Animals Qi Gong – Wudang Style
A unique practice in this year’s Tai Chi & Meditation Retreat
This year I will introduce a rare and transformative practice from the Wudang tradition:
The Five Animals Qi Gong — Tortoise, Crane, Snake, Tiger, and Dragon.
Each animal embodies a different quality of movement, energy, and inner strength. Together, they create a dynamic, enjoyable practice that improves both health and martial understanding.
What We Will Practice
Tortoise (龜) – deep grounding, calming the mind, nourishing inner strength
Crane (鶴) – balance, lightness, opening the chest and lungs
Snake (蛇) – spine mobility, fluidity, soft internal power
Tiger (虎) – strength, courage, tendon conditioning
Dragon (龍) – whole-body spiraling, vitality, internal force
Why This Practice Is So Powerful
, The Five Animals combine health, mobility, and martial mechanics in a way that improves body awareness and teaches natural force.
The result is a flexible, strong, energized body — and a calm, focused mind.
